Young adult books should be no less profound nor less well written than books for adults. We seek to serve our young adult readers by providing them literature of surpassing quality, written with their lives and perspectives in mind.
Finally, we believe that young adult literature can encompass a sense of hope and wonder often lacking in books written for the adult market. This reflects the powerful idealism that sets young people apart from their more cynical elders, the belief that the world can become a better place if they grow up to make it so.
